Jessica + Ryan (10.24.20)

Wedding days can be hectic, but that’s no problem because we pride ourselves in being professional chaos controllers. However, this day was a little more hectic than we are used to. We started the morning setting up rentals for a wedding in Newnan, Georgia. We left to head to Bogart, Georgia, for Jessica and Ryan’s big day. On our journey from one venue to the other we were in an accident on the interstate leaving our vehicle in an un-drivable state. Jessica was the first to know that we were going to be a little behind but that we would be there ready to make things happen! Luckily, everybody in the accident was fine and Ashley came to the rescue to pick me up while Hannah waited on the tow truck and a ride to the wedding.

Ashley and I arrived at the venue where the bride and groom were in separate rooms upstairs getting ready and enjoying time with their friends. The bridesmaids transitioned from cute matching pajamas to beautiful purple dresses. Ryan and his groomsmen got into their black tuxes and headed out to take some group shots. The Thompson House and Gardens was a great venue for this wedding and the weather held up wonderfully for an outdoor ceremony.

The ceremony space was set up beside the house with white chairs and black lanterns along the aisle. At the end of the aisle was a fairytale like arbor, covered with white drapery and beautiful purple, pink, and white flowers. A table was set up below the arbor with white and purple sand and a shadowbox for the unity ceremony.

Every moment of the ceremony was special. Jessica was walked down the aisle by both her mother and her father. The sand unity ceremony was a sweet moment shared among family and friends. Jessica and Ryan exchanged vows and rings before being announced Mr. and Mrs. Cutler.

Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while the newlyweds took more beautiful photos together. Kaylea of Rooted Wildflower photography captured the day perfectly. You can see the love in every photo whether it be between the bride and groom or between the couple and their friends.

The reception was kicked off with introductions of the bridal party and the new Mr. and Mrs. Cutler. After the first dance the buffet was opened to guests. Trumps Catering served a delicious meal of meat and veggies that looked to be enjoyed by the amount of empty plates on tables! Nicky was an amazing bartender and poured Sambuca shots for every guest (of legal age) to enjoy. Each shot is served with three coffee beans, representing health, happiness, and prosperity. After a few speeches and a shot, it was time to cut the cake! The cake, made by The Posh Cakery, was a three tier piece of art with each tier showing a silhouette of a couple in love. The groom’s cake was a University of Miami “U.”

Guests danced and enjoyed each other's company before the garter and bouquet toss took place and the night started to wind down. The rain started before the reception ended, but that didn’t stop this crowd from having a beautiful sparkler sendoff to wish the Cutlers well. Jessica and Ryan rode off in style while guests cheered them on and took some fun favors to remember the night!
