Emily + Ross (9.12.20)
Did somebody say, “Dance the night away!” or were we just hearing things? I’m not sure the answer, but either way this couple did just that!
Emily and Ross’ fun filled wedding took place at Glover Park Brewery just miles away from historic downtown Marietta. Glover Park is a beautiful brick building with a venue upstairs and a brewery below. The staff is always welcoming and wonderful to work alongside.
Shortly after we arrived to set up decor, Melissa with A Delicate Petal arrived and got to work on decorating the chuppah and other areas with white hydrangeas and pink roses. Glover Park provides wooden crossback chairs that fit in perfectly with the aesthetic of the venue. Below the chuppah was a table that held the unity candle and the glass to be broken at the end of the ceremony.
Emily and her bridesmaids arrived on site looking stunning with their hair and makeup already done. They headed into the finishing touches suite to get into their dresses and enjoy a little more girl time before the big event.
Ross and his groomsmen got ready at a nearby hotel where they shared a toast and some memories. Each groomsman sported a pair of socks with a fun design ranching from avocados to roosters and even matzo ball soup. Ross wore a pair with images of his and Emily’s faces on them!
Family and friends shuttled to Glover Park and the ceremony started shortly after. The lighting of the unity candle, exchanging of the vows, and breaking of the glass were just a few of the beautiful moments shared between the couple in front of all their guests. It was then time for the newlyweds to take family photos while the guests enjoyed cocktail hour and our team flipped the space.
The reception began with the first dance and that was the first of many many dances to come throughout the night. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful meal catered by Taqueria Tsunami and then headed straight for the dance floor. We love seeing our couples cut loose and take time to truly celebrate with their guests and Emily and Ross did just that.
Later in the evening the cake was cut and a variety of cookies from Ali’s Cookies were served and consumed excitedly. The couple ordered a variety of flavors including red velvet, mint chocolate, and peanut butter chocolate chip.
The crowd slowly moved from the dance floor to the alley, being sure to grab a Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich on their way out. Sparklers were lit while guests ate their late night snack. The new Mr. and Mrs. Sacharow made their grand exit, riding off in a beautiful red Mercedes.
